What is the method of service in accordance with the international treaties concluded or jointly participated in by the recipient's country and the People's Republic of China — FAQ 7 and the Answer to the Service Procedure of Foreign Civil and Commercial Cases

Answer: When the Court serves judicialdocuments on a recipient who does not have a residence within the territory of the People's Republic of China, if the recipient's country of residence has signed a judicial assistance agreement with the People's Republic of China, the service can be carried out in the manner specified in the judicial assistance agreement; If the recipient's country of service is a member state of the Convention on the Service of Civil or Commercial Judicial Documents and Foreign Judicial Documents Abroad, service may be made in accordance with the provisions of the Convention.
If the service is made in accordance withthe methods stipulated in the international treaties concluded or jointly participated in by the recipient's country and the People's Republic of China, it shall be handled in accordance with the "Provisions of the Supreme Court on Handling Judicial Document Service and Request for Legal Assistance in Investigation and Evidence Collection in Civil and Commercial Cases in accordance with International Conventions and Bilateral Judicial Assistance Treaties".
